For this assignment we had tp make three puns and make them colorful and clever. The first one is brain storm, second is butterfly, and the third is a devil egg. I learned that when making these you need to add all the right details to the pun so that your pun makes sense. I really like the first one because it has really good color and I think it looks really cool.
For this week I decided to do people because my little cousins would be good for that category. I wanted something more than just a plane portrait picture of them I wanted them in action and playing around. It was hard to set up the photo because they are young and don't understand so to take a good photo takes some work. Shutter Speed- 1/60 Aperture- F5.6 ISO- 2500 The first picture is the original photo with nothing done to it and the second picture is the picture that I toned up to make a little better. As you can see in the first picture there are some distractions in the back so I cropped them out of the photo as well as brighten it up because I thought it looked a little dark. I learned that some times when taking a photo there is setting up involved, and could be a little more difficult than what you expected. This is the final week and I have learned that cropping is a big part in making a picture better as-well as making the picture brighter or darker.
Foe this assignment we had to go look at tutorials for photoshop. There were many to chose from that helped you work on different skills that you need for photoshop. I liked that I got to see the cool things I got to do in photoshop to make your picture more fun and interesting. I did think that it was hard to follow every step and make sure everything turned out good. I liked the first picture the best because I think it looks really cool having only one apple be colored.
This week I chose to take pictures of food and had to make the food look like you want them when you look at the picture. I changed the angles as long as the food for each picture. Shutter Speed- 1/60 Aperture- F5.6 ISO- 6400 This first picture is a picture of the final picture I changed the levels of brightness, to make it look more attractive to the eye I also cropped it a little to get rid of the distractions in the back. The second picture was the original with no editing or cropping. This week I learned that you need to make sure your picture has good texture. For example, when taking the picture of the grapes you had to make sure the red and green grapes were mixed evenly not bunched together. Also getting the best angle that makes the food look as good as possible.
For this assignment we had to take a picture to the same person only in different spots. After we have taken the picture we come back to photoshop and merge all the images into one making one picture only out of 5 pictures. I think that this assignment showed me when I am taking these pictures not to overlap or have one picture interfering with the other. I liked that that we got to add multiple of ourselves into one picture.
I used my pano picture of the school and cropped it and then added to it. For this school context picture I used the theme Hotel Transylvania and added in graves to really bring out the spooky theme. I filtered the sky to make it halloween colors and added in a huge bat to bring out the sky more.
For this week I chose to take a pictures of landscape and I went out to my lake to capture the water and the trees around the body of water. To make a good picture that shows the entire environment. Shutter Speed- 1/125 Aperture- F5.6 ISO- 100 The first picture is the non edited version I did not do that much editing to my photo, all I did was change the brightness level to make the picture pop a little more then normal. The seconded picture is the edited photo were I made the picture a little brighter to make it stand out more. From this week I learned that you need to try a certain picture with different angles and try different things. I took a the same thing but from different angles and that gave me options to choose when I want to choose the best looking one. I also love using the levels tool in photoshop because if your picture does turn out to be a little to dark or bright you can adjust it to what you want.
For this assignment we had to take 3-5 pictures and put them all together to make one really large photo The first two pictures are my best pictures and what I learned from this assignment is to be careful when it comes to overlapping your pictures that way you don't have spaces or so that you want see the stitching.
This week we had a chose a topic and take pictures that relate to that category. I chose macro for this week and It is where you are able to zoom in and see the details for that certain picture. Shutter speed- 1/100 Aperture- 5.6 ISO- 6400 Photo from the camera with no editing. I learned that when you take pictures to capture the full detail it takes longer then when you are just taking picture of something more broad. Also you need to make sure that their background is not distracting for you t look at.
